Well, I chose the beautiful song of The Platters, "Only You", to get inspiration and be able to write something decent, haha. Seriously, this song means so much to me and I know it also does for many folks out there. I first listened to this song when I was given, as a 12 year birthday present, a compilation of CD's of the Golden Years or Rock and Roll.

 

 "Only you (and you alone)", is a Doo-wop song written by Buck Ram in 1954 and performed by the Platters. In 1955, it became a great success and reached number five on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Hello everybody!!!

Let me introduce myself, I am Hitone Guitar and I decided to create a blog because I love to talk and write about music. I really enjoy singing and doing covers of my favorite singers and musical groups.

For some reason, I looooove the Golden Years of Rock and Roll and sometimes feel like I was born in the wrong date, lol.  Wish I met in person all my favorite singers but unfortunately, most of them are already dead.  The good new is that their music is here to stay and for us, to enjoy.

 

A few years ago I started to upload videos of me singing in Youtube, as a tribute to all my favorite musicians, and soon, recording videos became part of my life. I am very grateful to all the people who comment and gives advice because I can learn and improve, and hopefully, someday I will become a good singer.

 

So, in this blog I will speak about songs, singers and musical groups I admire the most. Also, I will write the lyrics and chords of the songs I perform in my videos.
